A lovely antique Edwardian English, solid 18 carat gold diamond ring. Beautifully made, with high quality gold band and split shoulders, its marquise-shaped head has a galleried underbezel and is set with twenty one stunning glistening rose-cut diamonds in silver settings. The rose cut has a distinct silvery glisten that's highly sought after and cannot be found in any other cut - it's also very rare these days. It dates from around 1910 and is in excellent, fully wearable condition throughout, with two replaced diamonds of a different cut - not readily noticeable. It weighs 3.8 grams, its head measures 19 x 9 mm and its ring size is 7 ½ US / P UK - easily resized one or two sizes either way if needed.
The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coin for scale, which measures 19 mm / ¾ of an inch diameter.
