A rare and delicately crafted antique turn of the century Edwardian Belle Époque necklace pendant with an emblematic for that period bow design. The pendant is made of 18 karat yellow gold with platinum gem settings. There are two smaller pendants, one hanging from within a diamond and Colombian emerald encrusted circle, while the other hangs below the same circular border. The first pendant is finished with a very nice and fine natural saltwater pearl that measures about 6.9x6.4mm and the pendant beneath has a much smaller pearl of similar quality that measures 5x4.5mm. Both pearls possess a superb white color and lustre.The necklace pendant is finely encrusted with numerous small old European round diamonds of various sizes, ranging from 0.8 to 1.5mm, as well as with 7 rectangular and 1 square cut emeralds of the finest Colombian Muzo mine origin and quality with superb traffic light green color and unmatched VVS clarity. The border accent of calibrated emeralds contains stones whose sizes range from 2.8x2.2mm to about 3.1x2.3mm, while the square emerald center at the bow knot measures 3x3mm. Estimated combined diamond weight is approximately 0.6.7 carats, while the combined emerald weight is about 1.0-1.1 carats. Gross weight of the pendant is 7.5 grams and measures 50mm tall and 25mm wide. Chain is not included, but pendant can be attached to any chain through the wide hook at its top. The gold part of the hook is hallmarked with 18 for 18 karat gold. Absolutely scarce collector jewelry piece and one of the rare Belle Epoque period necklaces, pendants and jewels in general.
